INVESTIGATION CONCLUSION Structure Fire; INC#0089; 02:00PM; 203 E 3rd St; Downtown; LAFD Fire Investigators have concluded their investigation and the cause will remain "undetermined." Evidence confirmed that the fire began inside the structure and is not related to the individuals in tents outside the structure. Due to the compromised structural integrity of the fire unit and partial building collapse in the probable area of ignition, investigators were unable to determine anything further.; Nicholas Prange

It took 51 firefighters to extinguish the flames. Firefighters will remain on scene for an extended period of time for mop up (to extinguish hot spots and smoldering material in the burn footprint). No reported injuries.
