This structure is a modern, garden style apartment building under renovation. The fire was on the first floor moved up a wall into the 2nd floor. Firefighters made their way into the attic to ensure all was clear and no fire extension. No injuries reported. There are pockets of fire remaining that are difficult to reach due to location and structural integrity concerns of the building. While official knockdown has not yet been declared, the bulk of the fire is extinguished. This will be an extended operation and crews continue to apply master streams while working to reach the difficult spots. Resources will be on scene throughout the night. Please avoid the area.
